Terms of service

1. Who we are
Geewizz Kids is run by Geewizz Kids (ABN 76231951647), trading as Geewizz Kids, in Victoria, Australia (“we”, “us”). Questions: hello@geewizz.kids.
Geewizz Kids is for grown-ups. A parent or guardian makes the account and sets it up for their children. Children don’t make accounts. You must be 18 or older to use it.
2. Your account
You sign in with an emailed code or with Google. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including on devices your children use.
The grown-ups area sits behind a grown-up PIN so a child can’t wander into payments or deletion. It is a safeguard, not a lock, and it is not a substitute for keeping an eye on your child’s screen time.
3. What Geewizz Kids does
You or your child type (or, where it is offered, say) a short description, and we use AI to turn it into a black-and-white colouring page you can print or download.
We run every description through safety checks and may refuse it or hide a drawing. AI can get things wrong or draw something odd. We work hard to keep pages suitable for children but can’t promise every page will be perfect. If you see something that isn’t right, use the flag button on the drawing.
4. Descriptions and drawings
Please don’t put personal details (names, addresses, schools, phone numbers) in a description, and please tell your children not to.
Every drawing made for a new description joins our shared library. That means another signed-in family who asks for the same thing, or browses the library, can see, colour and print it. We never show your name, your child’s name or your account next to it.
You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, show, reuse and copy your descriptions and the drawings made from them, so we can run the library and the service. If you delete your account, we delete the drawings made through it.
You can print and use drawings for personal, non-commercial purposes, at home or in a classroom.
5. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- use bots, scripts or other automated ways to make drawings or to read the site;
- resell or republish drawings as a product, or use Geewizz Kids commercially;
- try to get around the limits or safety checks;
- share one account between households;
- use the service for anything unlawful or harmful.
6. Free, trial and Premium
Free. You can browse the library and make a small number of drawings without paying.
Premium. All the drawings your family could want, subject to fair use (section 7), and printing when it’s available. Premium is USD 39 a year or USD 4.99 a month. Prices are in US dollars and include any GST or other sales tax that applies to you. Your bank may add currency conversion fees.
Free trial. New Premium subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. You need to enter a card to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged for the plan you chose when the trial ends, and then again each year or month until you cancel. We email you before the trial ends.
Each account, and each card, gets one free trial. We check a one-way identifier of your card (not the card number) to enforce this. If a card has already been used for a trial, a second trial on it is cancelled before you are charged, and the account stays on the free plan.
If we change the price, we’ll tell you before your next renewal and the new price applies from that renewal.
7. Fair use
“All the drawings your family could want” means ordinary family use, not an unlimited feed of machine output. To stop automated and commercial use, there are limits on how many new drawings an account can make in a day and in a month, and on how many it can ask for at the same moment. The limits are generous for a family, we show a gentle message when one is reached, and we may adjust them over time.
Drawings already in the library don’t count towards them. If an account keeps going beyond fair use, or looks automated, we may restrict or end it. We’ll usually write to you first.
8. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time from the grown-ups area (Subscription, then manage). Cancelling during the free trial means you’re never charged. Cancelling after that keeps Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Our Refunds and cancellation page sets out when we refund. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We don’t see or store them.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account in the grown-ups area. Deletion starts a 7-day window in which you can change your mind, after which your account, your kid profiles and your drawings are permanently deleted. Deleting your account also cancels any subscription you have with us, so you won’t be charged again.
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why where we reasonably can.
11. Changes to the service
We may change, pause or stop features. If we stop Premium altogether, we’ll refund the unused part of the period you’ve paid for.
12. Your consumer rights and our liability
Under the Australian Consumer Law, our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded, including that they will be provided with due care and skill and be fit for the purpose we’ve told you about. Nothing in these terms removes those guarantees.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
13. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it applies. If you keep using Geewizz Kids after that, you accept the new terms. A change that affects what you pay applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria.
